Our Mission
There are few experiences more inspiring than hearing the beautiful sounds of the piano. Founded in 2003, the Washington Piano Society aims to share the experience of piano music with the community by organizing a series of free concerts. A typical concert features three to five artists and a wide range of the piano repertoire including solo pieces, duets, vocal music, and chamber music. A reception follows for all to enjoy, where the audience and the musicians can talk over a mutual love of music. We present our concert series in the Washington D.C. area. Upon invitation we give performances at other venues in the greater Washington area and we welcome such opportunities.
Who we are
The Washington Piano Society is a small but diverse group of exemplary performing artists who live in the Washington area and who wish to share their talent with the community.
